Róbert specialises in IT and communications law, intellectual property, media and telecommunications, data protection,
e-commerce, contract law, advertising, consumer protection, and regulation of games of chance.

In IT law he focuses on the legal aspects of creation and use of copyrighted works, implementation of information systems, software licensing, and advising information society service providers. He is also active in lecturing on these topics.

In the field of intellectual and industrial property law, his main focus is on the law of trademarks, utility models, industrial designs, patents, geographical indications and domain names. He specialises primarily in complex IP strategy setting and IP and copyright enforcement. He also advises Slovak and foreign companies in connection with the exercise of their IP rights.

In the area of data protection law, he specialises in setting up processes and their compliance with European and Slovak regulations, as well as in the protection of privacy and personal data in electronic communications (e-privacy), transfer of data outside the EU, and regulation of personal data security. He regularly advises Czech, Slovak and international companies in connection with the processing of personal data and setting up or adjusting relevant business processes.

Róbert is involved in advising clients from various industries, including internet platforms and online solutions, the banking and financial market, and the automotive and food industries, to mention just a few. He also focuses on new technologies and their legal aspects.

In the area of contract law, he specialises in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, agreements relating to intellectual property rights, licensing agreements, as well as drafting commercial terms and conditions and franchise agreements.
